I feel blessed to have known Ruth over many years. While it was my job to give her counsel, I believe that she shared much more wisdom with me. She actually told me- the family historian for my family- that she was related to me by marriage. And so she was. She was a wonderful lady. Rest in peace, Ruth.

Ruth was our Moms best friend, they graduated high school together in 1935 and remained life-long friends til my Moms passing in 2010. I have kept in touch with Ruth through the years by phone and cards, and she was a very special friend to my sister and I. She actually made my wedding cake in 1958.. she will be forever in our hearts. Godspeed, dear Ruth.

Ruth was our neighbor on University Ave when I was in high school. What a wonderful lady. She was fun to visit with and we shared gardening tips. Her snake had babies and moved to our yard and we moved out. She discovered the snake bed the next year. Yikes!!!
She moved down by Watford City area and always called when she came to town to do business. I lost track of her when Kensington closed.
What a wonderful person. Sympathies to the family. We were the Olson's next door.

I got to know Ruth at the Kensington when my mom lived there. She would tell me about when she knew my dad (Harry Jenner) in school. After mom died, I continued to take my violin students there just before their dinner every Tuesday during our summer lessons. Ruth loved those fiddle kids!!
When the oil boom hit and took away the Kensington, I lost track of so many wonderful people who had become my friends. Ruth was one of those!

Ruth was a nurse's aide for me at the Good Samaritan
Hospital...what a good worker she was and she taught me alot about life. I remember her saying " your kids aren't going to remember all the times you cleaned house but they will remember all the time you spent with them. What great philosophy!
I used that saying alot...remembering the kids were more important...I lost track of her through the years but I haven't forgotten her work ethic and wisdom. God's blessings to the whole family.
