We want to thank everyone for their prayers, comments and deeds in this time of sadness. We are not able to attend Dad's funeral but, want to remember him as he was the last time we saw him.
We had many good times with Ed and Alma the four and a half years we lived in Williston. Times of laughter and learning from Ed as we traveled and took them to Drs. appointments and out to dinner. Ed loved to tell the history about places we visited and we loved hearing about them.; Long Creek, Spanish Point, living on the Missouri River, Minot, Billings, Buford (old ski slope), Bismarck and many others. We heard the story of how mom and dad met and fell in love -A Special Memory they shared with us. Dad, We are missing you but we'll meet you again at the feet of Jesus! Love, Philip & VickieD

I was sorry to hear about Ed's passing. Ed and I worked together at Conlin's Furniture in the 1980's. Ed and I worked on the delivery truck and we got to know a lot about each other's family. Ed was a great guy who always liked to visit and have a cup of coffee. Our sympathy goes out to Ed's family.

Got to know Ed when I worked at Bethel. He then came in to Horizon to pay his gas bill and we rekindled our friendship. I so looked forward to him coming in, we would always visit longer than we should have, on company time. He was quick to smile and be funny, always told stories of his kids, his military service and his travels. He enjoyed having a few pieces of candy out of my candy basket. Quite a guy, my life was blessed to be able to call him a friend of mine. Take care. The world lost a good man.
