What an amazing man Lanny was!! Our boys both thought the world of Lanny. Boy Scout Troop 368 would not have been the best Boy Scout Troop in Williston without Lanny. The adventures he took the boys and Jeff on we're truly amazing and were life changing events! What an excellent role model for the boys. I will miss visiting with Lanny whenever I ran into him. May you rest in peace with no more pain, my friend.

He helped me learn how the Scouting program is supposed to work. He was always ready for an adventure and was willing to help out where ever he was needed. I'll miss you Lanny.

I was saddened when I heard about Lanny’s passing. He was my scout leader in the 90s; he led our troop on many adventures including backpacking at Glacier National Park and canoeing in the Boundary Waters. Lanny was a great Scoutmaster and role model. He had a positive impact on many scouts’ lives. He will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Lanny’s family.

Back in the 80's when The Williston Home Builders Assoc was putting on the Home & Garden Show, Lanny worked for MonDak Plumbing. Lanny got roped in to lots of work setting up and tearing down for the show at the Raymond Center :-) He was always such a pleasant guy! With our sympathy, C'Dale & Phil

Dear Cathy, Family and extended Holgerson Family,
How shocked and saddened I was at the news of Lanny's passing! Please accept my heartfelt and sincere sympathy to You all. I pray God's Good Grace and Comfort upon all of You at this mournful time. My mind drifts back to the 'Alamo days' and all of our great times Lanny and his family and I shared together. Those were Good Days! I cherish them always. Please forgive my absence at the funeral as work will not permit me to attend. May God bless You and Lanny's memory.
