Almost 75 years of marriage to Nina!! Wow, that is incredible. You are in my thoughts. Muriel and family, I know how much you loved your precious brother and uncle. I look back at the beautiful pictures taken of all of you these past couple years. They are such special treasures. In each family picture I can capture soooooo much love for one another. Each of you will be in my thoughts and prayers this day as you celebrate Kermit's life. May God Comfort You and give you his Strength today and in the days ahead. Hugs and Love to all.

So sorry to see kermit has went to the Lord as he shall be missed by us. Had many good memories especially milking the cows with Harold Paulson when Kermit and Nina would go on vacation. Think I was only 13 at the time but started a lasting family friendship. God bless you and keep you Kermit.

To Ken, Sharon, Larry and Greg -
I just noticed your dad’s obituary in the Williston Herald and saw that he was 97 years old at the time of his death. What a long and remarkably well lived life!
Kermit and Nina Heen were our neighbors in the Missouri Ridge Township northwest of Williston. Seeing his picture brought back my childhood memories of them. What I remember most about Kermit Heen was his calm and quiet presence. I remember his gentle, encouraging smile that was always there. He made me feel that he was truly glad to see me. Nina was a very energetic and spunky lady always encouraging us with our 4 H projects and other things. I felt that they both really liked my brother, my sister and me and wanted the very best for us.
They were good friends of our parents and were always so very kind and helpful to them, too. When our parents moved into Williston in the 80’s Kermit came to help them move. I am sure that they did not ask him to, he just showed up on moving day with his truck. What a wonderful friend and neighbor!
And, so, “Heen kids” - I am thinking of all of you today and know that you will miss your dad always. But, I also know that you recognize how lucky you have been to have had a dad like him for such a big part of your lives. God bless you all.
