I heard of this the day after it happened, from friends from his class, and my heart just broke. Without Jorgy, I wouldn’t have gotten through High School and though we had our ups and downs, I will always be beyond grateful for the charismatic attitude he always shared with us. His classroom was a place that I most easily found peace and could keep to myself on the bad days and joke around on the good ones. Heaven gained a truely amazing character, and at least he is more at ease now. Prayers to the family and all the rest of the mourning hearts. God bless.

I haven’t seen Dave, or Deej as we called him then, in probably 20 years. We used to work for the Teton Booster Club together and we always had lots of fun. He was always very happy-go-lucky and I enjoyed working with him. I am very sorry for Sue and the kids as well as the rest of his family, friends and students. He touched a lot of lives. Rest In Peace.

My condolences to the family. It must be hard to of lost such a wonderful man. If it wasn't for him and other great math teachers I wouldn't have made it. He always encouraged me to keep pushing and do better. If I wouldn't of had that I probably would've dropped that class and be stuck as a dropout, he will dearly be missed. Rest in Peace Jorg. We may have lost an angel but heaven received one very unique one.

Our condolences goes out to each and everyone of the family. All my kids had "Jorgy" and loved him and his class. If it wasn't for his teaching my kids would of never made it through math. In my eyes he loved to teach the teachable and gave them credit for whatever they could accomplish. He will be missed greatly. RIP "Jorgy"

Jorgy will be missed by many, He went above and beyond for his students, caring, joking and motivating them. He was their FAVORITE teacher. I warned him about my granddaughter when she entered high school...he said she was a challenge! Because she felt she let him down, she went on to get her GED and is currently on the Presidents List at Williston State and has set her goals in life High (ALL BECAUSE OF JORGY)! May he rest in peace ! Condolences to all family and friends. Know he made a difference in the lives of many. Joanne

Jorgensen Family...deepest sympathies. Jorgy was a one of a kind man. Had so many hilarious & sincere visits with him whenever he came into Home of Economy. He made sure my son passed Algebra 2 come hell or high water...with all of our chats he once told me he had the "bad habit" of caring too much for his students. There is no such thing as that. And that's what made him so well loved by so many....to imagine how many teenagers, friends & families he touched with his unique & honest personality. God Speed Jorgy....thank you for being you.

My condolences goes to ur family. He was a really great guy I remember when we first met neither of us liked each other. But by the end of the year we were friends. He would come into my 7th hour and joke around an tease me about all the marks on my neck from my boyfriend hover(vacuum). when i came to school that day to drop out he was very disappointed in me. But we both new school wasn’t my thing. I sure will miss u.

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of David. He was always so helpful to me when I subbed at the high school. It was so apparent he loved what he was doing---joking and visiting with the students when they passed through the halls. May he now rest in peace.
