Felix Vondall, 83, of Williston, passed away at his home on Friday evening, July 14, 2017.
Felix was born in Belcourt, ND to Frank and Georgianna (Houle) Vondall. He attended school in Wahpeton, ND and Steffan, SD where he met and befriended Floyd Red Crow Westerman, an actor and musician who taught Felix to play the guitar as young boys. Felix dearly loved music and continued to play over the years entertaining many people in many towns and different occasions. He also enjoyed horses and had them a good portion of his life. He liked the cowboy way of life.
He faithfully watched the Minnesota Twins and Viking games on TV rarely missing a game, always rushing home so as not to miss that first inning. Most of all he loved visiting with friends and family over a cup of coffee or a diet Coke. We will all truly miss those visits.
Felix worked as a cement finisher for many years until he retired at the ripe old age of seventy five. He enjoyed his work very much and truly missed it.
In 1954 Felix married Darlene Turcotte. To this marriage were seven children. When this marriage ended he married Kathy Raveling in 1988. They had many happy years together making their home in Williston.
