Twila Dullum, 97, of Williston, North Dakota, passed away Thursday night, November 16, 2017 at the Bethel Lutheran Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Williston.
Twila Florine (Lysne) Dullum was born November 20, 1919 in Maddock, ND to Caroline (Pederson) and Hans Lysne. She was baptized and confirmed at North Viking Lutheran Church in Maddock, attended Maddock High School and College of Business in Minot. After graduation, she took a job at Williams County Welfare Office in Williston. On October 7, 1944, she married Robert Dullum in Sidney, Mt. They shared 67 years together. She was a longtime member of First Lutheran Church.
Twila is survived by her son, Daryl Dullum of Lakeside, MT; daughter, DeAnn Beard and her husband, Roy of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Darin (Sheila) Dullum, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Tina (Troy) Dennison, Missoula, MT, Lindsay Beard, Grand Forks, Erin Beard, Fargo, and Kristin Beard, Grand Forks; great-grandchildren, Austin, Sierra, and Elizabeth Dennison, Missoula, MT, and Devin Dullum, Wake Forest, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Twila in death were her husband, Robert; sisters, Myrtle Solheim and Hannah Torgerson; and brothers, Almond, Lloyd, Ralph and Dennis Lysne.
Her Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 24, at the Chapel of Frist Lutheran Church in Williston. Rev. Kevin Beard will officiate.
Friends may call at Everson-Coughlin Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM and for the hour preceding the service at the church on Friday.
Interment in Hillside Memory Gardens Cemetery will follow the service.
