Robert Dullum, 85, a longtime Williston, ND resident and area farmer, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012, at the Bethel Lutheran Home in Williston. Robert Glenwood Dullum was born April 5, 1927 to Gilbert and Pauline (Loken) Dullum on the family homestead in Athens Township, Williams County, ND, where he would himself farm for years to come. Bob was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Bethesda Lutheran Church, north of Williston. He attended Twin Lakes School and Williston High School.
On October 7, 1944 Bob married the love of his life, Twila Lysne, in Sidney, MT, and they would share 67 years together.
Bob farmed most of his life; was the warehouse manager for Volney & Wayte, a mud distributor, during the very first oil boom; and a mechanic at Volney Lanes for over thirty years.
He was a member of First Lutheran Church.
Bob is survived by his wife, Twila, of Williston; his son, Daryl Dullum and wife, Jeanette, of Lakeside, MT and daughter, DeAnn Beard and husband, Roy, of Grand Forks, ND; his five grandchildren, Darin (Sheila) Dullum and Tina (Troy) Dennison, and Lindsay, Erin and Kristin Beard; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Sierra, and Elizabeth Dennison and Devin Robert Dullum; his sister, Gladys Hartsoch of Watford City, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Bob in death were his parents; brothers, Donald, Roy, Duane, Glenwood and Orvin Dullum; and his sisters, Janice Haugen, Evelyn Woodward and Norma Sandberg.

His funeral will be celebrated Monday afternoon, June 11, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at The Chapel at First Lutheran Church in Williston. Rev. Ben Loven and Intern Pastor Liz Dieseth will officiate.

Friends may call at the Everson Funeral Home of Williston Sunday from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m., Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and at the church for the hour preceding the funeral.

Interment will follow in Hillside Memory Gardens.
