In keeping with Leslie’s wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside committal service at the Bainville Cemetery at 10:00 AM, Mountain on Friday, June 22, 2018.


There will be a reception at the Bainville Fire Hall immediately following the committal service.

Leslie Edward Rudolph, 75, of Bainville, MT, passed away at his home in Bainville on Monday evening, June 11, 2018.

Les was born on October 20, 1942 in Williston, North Dakota. He was the second son born to Leo and Dorothy Rudolph. Les went to school in Bainville and enlisted in the Army in 1961, where he served as a Paratrooper. After active duty he joined the National Guard.

Les lived in Jordan, Montana working as a truck driver. This is where he met his first wife Kathy. Together they had two children, Michael and Jannel. They then moved to Fairview, Montana where Les became employed by Neu Construction. During this period Les became single. Later he moved to Bainville and was employed by Franz Construction until his retirement.

In 1990 Les married Sharon Robinson. Together they lived at the Robinson home place. Les was a member of the American Legion. He very much enjoyed working on lawn mowers and was an excellent handyman.

Les is survived by his wife Sharon; son, Michael of TX; daughter, Jannel of TX; step daughter Malinda Nelson of Spokane WA; brothers Bob, of Bainville, MT, Tom (Natalie) of Conrad, MT, Tim (Debbie) of rural Froid, MT, Chester (Martha) of McCabe, MT; sisters, Jan Wheeler of Bismarck, ND, Susan (Dave) Walker of Great Falls, MT, Arlene (Bob) Bieber of Fairview, MT; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Les in death are his parents, Leo and Dorothy Rudolph; brother, Art Rudolph; sisters, Betty Nice and Leona Rudolph; brother in laws, Ben Nice, Mike Wheeler; nephew, Ryan Bieber and stepson Ricky Paras.

Les is greatly missed by us all.
